Hey lovelies! Hope you all had a wonderful and restorative weekend. Be Inspired is back! (did you miss it last week?!) I hope you enjoy my findings!
- Kicking off with a comprehensive article on how to test your gut health… If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, then maybe you don’t know how important a happy gut is to your overall wellbeing. 80% of your immune system resides in your gut! The gut is literally your second brain – contributing to the state of your mood, as well as sending signals to other parts of your body. So it’s rather important to take care of…
- When I’m in my car, I’m mostly listening to informative podcasts or chanting along to mantras… Sometimes I listen to actual music…sometimes it’s even really cheesy pop music… but most of the time chanting to mantras makes me feel the best – especially when sitting in traffic. No more road rage! (or at least a great reduction in road rage profanities!) I also use mantras when I’m meal prepping, foam rolling, journaling and during some meditations. Here are a few simple mantras explained.
- I am an unashamed Gwyneth Paltrow and Goop fan. Haters can hate, but I think what she does is great. I also own two of her cookbooks: It’s All Good and It’s All Easy and there are brilliant recipes and meal inspiration in both. Last week Goop launched their own podcast and the first episode is an interview with Oprah Winfrey! What a woman. She’s the very best. It’s so good. Go listen…
- You know how I don’t like to lable the way I eat? I never preach or prescribe one diet philosophy to my clients. I’m all about tuning in to YOUR body and learning to eat in a way that makes YOU feel YOUR best. This can change from season to season, year to year… My diet is constantly evolving and I’m very happy with it this way… I loved reading this blog post by Jordan Younger who has publicly been through hell and back with food and her body and has now found a happy lable-free space.
Wishing you all the most wonderful week ahead! I have space for 2 more clients at the moment, if you or anyone you know would like to work with me! Much love!
