Hello beautiful! Wow it’s been a little while since I posted here (actually only 2 weeks, but it feels like ages!) I must be honest and say that I caught a case of “the blahs” before Easter and was just feeling kinda uninspired and well, BLAH. I just needed some time away from creating and posting and work, work, working and just needed to be. Be present. Be still. Be quiet.

But now I’m baaaaa-aaaack. Did you miss me? Sometimes it feels like blogging is dead and that putting all this time and effort into researching and writing posts for my mom and maybe a handful of people to read seems pointless and disheartening. But then I think, screw it! Maybe I will make a difference to one person’s day… maybe this post will inspire someone to read something, make something, do something that could really have a positive effect on them and maybe that will cause a ripple effect and on and on… So I will carry on, because I write about things that I think are cool and interesting and I would like to read about them… and hopefully you feel the same! 🙂

I know I usually post my Be Inspired links on a Monday, but I’ve never been one to follow rules very well… and sometimes we all need a little mid-week pick me up!

Kicking off with a little Dr Frank Lipman love. He’s an ex South African and one of the world’s most respected and well known functional medicine doctors. He has a new book out (which is on my to buy list!) and this great little article on Chalkboard Magazine shares some of his simple “Perfect Plates” for healthy meal inspiration.

I’m always always reading about gut health – it really is our second brain! If things are out of whack in the gut, it can effect your immune system, your mood and even your sleep! It’s explained very nicely over on The Guardian.

I love everything about Alison Wu’s blog, her food, her vibe… everything! She’s just posted on her completed kitchen renovation and it is absolutely DREAMY! Want. Check it out here.

Speaking of dreamy… I can’t wait to try this gorgeous pink rose latte by Sahara Rose.

And lastly, this is a little (ok a month) late for International Women’s Day, but I really liked this short and sweet article about gender neutrality and balancing/embracing masculine and feminine energies in both men and women.

Well that’s all for now! Hope you enjoy those articles and please feel free to leave and comment and tell me what you like and don’t like, what you want to see more of and anything else you want to share!

Big love
