Ingredients

  • 2 medium beetroot steamed & then cooled or frozen overnight
  • 2 small zucchini raw or steamed & then frozen
  • 1 tbsp nut butter of choice i used macadamia
  • 1 tbsp collagen powder
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 3 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 splash nut milk of choice just enough to get the blender going

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth. You want your smoothie to be thick and creamy, so add liquid sparingly. Sprinkle with some cinnamon or more cacao powder to serve or go wild with toppings like granola, toasted coconut, nut butter drizzle, etc! Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Don't be put off by the cook time / prep time. If you've steamed your beets the night before then this will literally take you 5 minutes to throw together!

Let me know if you make it! Also feel free to add whatever magical superfoods and adaptogens you may be using at the moment. I added a hormone balancing superfood/adaptogen mix to mine! Happy hormones, happy tummy, happy tastebuds. 🙂
